Children of Floating Village Siem Reap Cambodia

politik dan hukum

These are some pictures of the students at the floating village in Siem Reap, Cambodia. I visited them during my trip to Angkor Wat temple. The location of the floating village is at the Tonle Sap Lake area. The villagers here live in the boat or in the house tied to a big raft. When the rainy season came and the water is high, the villagers will also move their house along the Lake area. The children are taken care by the government by making them floating public shools, floating basketball courts. Yet the children are still live under poverty. I came to their school and the teacher here taught the children not to take money from visitors or tourists. Only food or school equipments are allowed to give.

The children were enthusiast to answer question I gave in simple Maths (I felt as if teaching back at the class again)
